Claire Boag
Claire joined the Scottish Longitudinal Study as Project Manager in June
2009. She is responsible for developing and maintaining the SLS
database. She also promotes the use of the SLS and provides support to
users.
Before joining the SLS Claire worked in a variety of statistics roles
within the Scottish Government, General Register Office for Scotland and
the Office for National Statistics. In ONS she worked in migration
statistics, followed by two years in GROS, focussing mainly on migration
and small area population estimates. In the Scottish Government she was
responsible for redesigning the methods and systems used to produce
Scottish Input-Output tables. Her most recent post prior to joining the
SLS was in housing statistics.
